Whether you have an idea for a special piece or are looking for something as simple as restringing a cherished heirloom, Melanie will work with you to create something considered and personal. Existing jewellery and materials, such as pearls, diamonds and other precious stones, can be incorporated into a contemporary design – giving them a new lease of life while preserving the memories that made them meaningful. Each commission is developed collaboratively, from the initial idea through to the finished piece.

Getting to know you
The bespoke process varies depending on the complexity of each project, but the process always starts with a conversation with Melanie. This is an opportunity to get to know you, understand your ideas and personal style, and discuss how you wear your jewellery. You can meet with Melanie in person or virtually, depending on what works best for you.

Bringing your ideas to life
Melanie will create a selection of bespoke designs ideas for you to feedback on before narrowing down and refining the final design. In many cases, you’ll also have the opportunity to try on a 3D-printed prototype to check the size and fit before your piece is made.

The crafting of your piece
As an award-winning maker, Melanie handcrafts pieces in her Hamburg workshop, or works alongside trusted goldsmiths from her network when a project calls for specific expertise. We source the highest-quality pearls and gemstones from trusted suppliers, selecting each material with care.

Your piece, complete
Upon completion your piece will be delivered to your doorstep in our signature packaging, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
