Care Guide
Pearls and mother of pearl, also known as Nacre, are beautiful organic materials which with the right care can last many lifetimes. In fact the oldest pearl found on record is approximately 8000 years old!
So, to keep your pearl and mother of pearl jewellery looking it’s best for many years to come, please ensure you follow these steps:

Handle with care
Treat your pieces with care, avoid strenuous activities which could expose your jewellery to knocks or scratches such as exercising. Remove your jewellery before washing hands, showering, bathing or swimming, but don’t forget to put it back on!
Avoid exposure to chemicals
You should ensure your piece is not exposed to high temperatures or chemicals including but not limited to medical creams, cosmetics and cleaning products. It is a good idea to put on your jewellery last, after applying any makeup, hairspray, perfume etc.

Safe Storage
When travelling or storing your piece, please keep it protected in its soft pouch or the box provided, this ensures it is protected from other items that may scratch its surface.
Gentle cleaning
Whenever necessary, use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean your jewellery. If especially dirty, you can take it to a trusted jeweller, or reach out to us to get it professionally cleaned.
