Tria, from the Greek word for three, is a poetic exploration of harmony expressed through three distinct pearl colours; classic white, soft lavender and rich peacock. This union is rare in pearl jewellery, partly due to the difficulty in sourcing and matching hues across ascending sizes.

As always, Melanie embraces the creative and technical challenges presented by organic materials, transforming the complexity of sourcing and pairing pearls into a meditation on balance itself. This pursuit has long been central to her work, whether explored through scale, shape, or colour.

“Each pearl colour speaks to me as a different human emotion, equally important, yet only harmonious when held in balance” she explains. “Designing this collection became a cathartic process, a way to explore equilibrium not only in jewellery, but in life itself.” The result is an intimate dialogue between feeling, form, and material.

The jewels are minimal yet compelling, imbued with hidden intricacies. Open rings create the illusion of pearls floating across the fingers. Clasps are designed to disappear seamlessly within the strands. And earrings are constructed with concealed metalwork to ensure the attention rests solely on the pearls.

The collection incorporates the finest freshwater, Akoya, South Sea and Tahitian pearls alongside yellow and white gold, as well as black ruthenium plated silver. For the first time, in a trio of pendants, Melanie introduces marine diamonds, carefully sourced from the ocean floor. The pieces are accompanied with Ocean Diamond certificates of provenance, underscoring Melanie’s continued commitment to traceability, transparency, and responsible sourcing.​
