GemGenève – November 2023

Melanie was thrilled to be asked to participate in a panel talk at the November edition of GemGenève. Hosted by Donatella Zappieri the talk was entitled Pearls: Challenges and New Creative Scenarios. On the panel alongside Melanie were journalist and historian Milena Lazzazzera and head of Special Initiatives at SSEF & Co-Founder of Sustainable Pearls, Laurent Cartier. The discussion focussed on the challenges of sustainability and also explored current trends in pearl jewellery and the way in which new creative perspectives can answer to environmental constraints.
